間が空いておりました。不定期ですいません。10月より全国でPOP-UPをやらせて頂いております。継続して伺わせて頂くお店が多く、毎年馴染みのお客様とお話できること楽しいです。最近何を買ったとか、こんな新しいものがあるとか、その他活字に出来ないことほど面白い。ダイレクトに空気感を伝えられるほどとても安心します。そしてイベントでお客様から、”ブログ止まっていますね。”と多々お声がけ頂き、久々に書いてみようとここに記しました。お声がけ頂きました皆様、ありがとうございます。
これからいよいよ冬本番の寒さになってきました。年々寒くなる時期が遅い反面、GW前まで寒さが続きますね。１日の中で昼暑いのに夜寒い、なんてことが多々あるので、最近は真冬のアウターを揃えるよりブルゾンやジャケットをアウターにして、レイヤー調整しながら冬を過ごすことが増えてきました。もちろんインナーはカシミヤですが、意外とミドルウェイトシリーズの活躍が多いような。ちょうどいい肉感で、何も考えずただ着るだけで快適ですが、気づいたらいつも同じ格好。。色物で気分上げられるように努めます。
話は変わりますが、この半年間、カシミヤの性能を通年発揮できないかと思い、一年中着れるカシミヤアイテムをいよいよ開発しました。ブランドを始めた当初からずっと考えていたのですが、”カシミヤ、ニット、それは冬。”という固定概念をどうやって克服かなと。加えて天然素材というナチュラル原料で、いかに高機能なハイテクを生み出せないかと挑んできました。思い込みや先入観を超えた、新しいカシミヤの価値観を作り出せないのかとずっと考えていました。今あるカシミヤスウェットの概念もその一つです。今出来上がったのは２アイテム。一つはカシミヤ100％のカットソー。いつものTシャツが、カシミヤです。想像がつかないかと思いますが、作っている自分も毎回出来上がってくるまで想像のつかない物を作っていました。なんと言うか、今まで見たことない素材感で、強いて言うならば、スビン天竺の表面をマットにしながら、素材に芯がある柔らかさで素材が立っているけれどもコットンのTシャツのようにも見える…とにかく、です。
カシミヤの特徴の一つ、保温性をどう解消するかがポイントでした。カシミヤは細やかな繊維束の隙間にあるポケットと言われる空間で、暖かい空気をキープします。繊維が細く軽く、この保温性に優れているので、重宝されます。が、結果だけものすごく簡単に言いますと、このポケットの隙間を思いっきり潰しました。保温の機能だけ取り除き、それ以外はカシミヤ本来の性能そのままです。そして、完全にカットソーなので、もうニットではありません。（個人的にとても嬉しい響きです。）今のベストがようやく完成しました。もうすぐ展開できるかと思いますので、みなさま何卒お待ち下さいませ。
もう一つの通年着れる嬉しいアイテムは、次の機会に紹介させて頂きます。

blousons and jackets as outerwear and adjusting layers as I go through the winter, rather than buying outerwear for the middle of winter. Of course, my innerwear is cashmere, but surprisingly, the middle-weight series seems to play an active role in my life. They have just the right amount of fleshiness and are comfortable to just wear without thinking, but I find myself always wearing the same outfit. I've been wearing the colored ones since this season, and I'm finally getting used to them.
It's getting colder and colder as the winter season approaches. While it gets colder later each year, the cold continues until before GW, and since it is often hot during the day and cold at night during the night, I have been spending more time in the winter using blousons and jackets as outerwear and adjusting layers rather than buying outerwear for midwinter. Of course, my innerwear is cashmere, but surprisingly, the middle-weight series seems to play an active role in my life. They have just the right amount of fleshiness and are comfortable just to wear without thinking, but I find myself always wearing the same outfit. I'm going to try to lift my mood by wearing something colorful.
On a different note, over the past six months, I have been thinking about whether I could demonstrate the year-round performance of cashmere, and I have finally developed cashmere items that can be worn all year round. I have been thinking about it since the beginning of the brand, how to overcome the stereotype of "cashmere and knitwear are for winter. I wondered how to overcome the stereotype of "cashmere and knitwear are for winter. In addition, I have challenged myself to see how I could create high-functional high-tech items from natural materials. I have always wondered if I could create a new sense of value for cashmere that would transcend assumptions and preconceptions. The current concept of cashmere sweatshirts is one such example. Now we have two items. One is a 100% cashmere cut and sewn. The usual T-shirt is cashmere. You may not be able to imagine it, but even I, who was making them, couldn't imagine what I was making until I finished them each time. If I had to say something, I would say that it is a material that I have never seen before.
The key point was how to resolve one of the characteristics of cashmere, its warmth retention. Cashmere keeps warm air in the spaces, called pockets, between the fine fiber bundles. Cashmere is a very useful material because its fibers are thin and light, and it has excellent heat retention properties. However, to put the result in a very simple way, the gap between the pockets has been drastically reduced. Only the function of heat retention was removed, and the rest of the cashmere's original performance was left as it is. And since it is completely cut and sewn, it is no longer a knit. (That sounds very nice to me personally.) The current vest is finally finished. It will be available soon, so please wait for it, everyone.
